Are these courses online?
Yes. Every course on this page is taken online, in your own time, on a phone, tablet or computer. The only thing done in person is the CITB Health, Safety and Environment test, which is taken at a Pearson VUE centre.
Which course do I need for a CSCS Green Card?
Two things: the RQF Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment, and a pass in the CITB HS&E Operatives test. Take the Level 1 course and then the test booking, or take the full package, which adds the card application itself.
Do the safety courses give me a CSCS card?
No. A CSCS card needs a recognised construction qualification and a current CITB test pass, and the application is made to CSCS. The safety courses are the tickets employers ask for on site, not card qualifications. What a CSCS card is, and who needs one.
Do I get a certificate?
Yes. Each course issues its own certificate when you pass, and most issue it the same day, including the Level 1 course and the Traffic Marshal course.
