How do I get my CSCS Green card?
Step 1 - Complete this course for your Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment certificate.
Step 2 - Pass the CITB operatives test at your local Pearson Centre.
Step 3 - After completing both the Level 1 Health & Safety and the CITB HS&E Test, you can apply for your CSCS Green card.

How does the online exam work?
Once you have completed the online training course, you will be able to schedule your remote exam using our calendar booking tool on your course dashboard. You can select a date and time that is convenient for you.
You will receive your unique exam link in advance of your scheduled date. Use this link to sit your exam in a quiet room with nobody else present.
Before the exam begins, you will be asked to show your ID and provide a quick scan of the room to ensure that nobody else is present.
When can I do my online exam?
Monday - Sunday (9am - 10pm).
What happens if I do not attend my exam without 48 notice?
If we do not receive 48 hours of cancellation or you do not attend your exam, you will have to reschedule and pay a retake fee of £45.00.
What do I need for this course and online exam?
The course (online training) can be completed on virtually any device from anywhere, at your own pace.
To take the final exam from home, you will need the following:
- A webcam to show your face, ID, and a scan around the room.
- A desktop, laptop, or Chromebook (phones and tablets are not compatible).
- Headphones are not allowed during the exam.
- You must be alone in the room.
